Glasgow was the host city for this year’s Worldcon – the world’s biggest sci fi / fantasy festival. Writers and fans of genre fiction descended on Glasgow en masse for five days to discuss, network and generally geek out. unfortunately had a bunch of other things on, but I did make it to the launch of my writers circle new anthology, Gallus.
Its a wonderful anthology, with a massive spread of genres from full blooded fantasy to slipstreamy horror. Its a great demonstration of one of the things that make being part of this writers circle so great – the sheer variety of the stories it brings me.
My story here is The Pitfalls of Foresight. It’s a short read, but probably my longest published story, as most of my published stories have tended to be extremely short. Its also my favourite story I’ve had published so far, inspired by the experience of being short sighted and some thoughts about neurodivergence I hope you like it.
